But seriously, folks . . .

We're a father-son team whose mission is to deliver something to smile at or even laugh about to a humor-hungry world. We'll do this through posting essays (new and previously published) and art exhibits (stay tuned) as well as links to sites we like, re-prints of classic (and often forgotten) humor pieces, links to our favorite performers, writers, troupes and other surprises. We mean it to be a treasure trove of the new, the old and especially the unexpected.

As to who we are: I'm Jeremiah Horrigan, the father of the team. I go back 58 years, to the middle of the previous century. I've written for some big outfits (Sports Illustrated, New York Times) and more much more regularly for much humbler organizations (Woodstock (NY) Times, The Middletown Times-Herald Record). I'll soon be posting many rare and hard-to-find classic works. And I'll be posting minty-fresh pieces as the spirit -- and the times -- move me.

My son's name is Grady Kane-Horrigan. He's an artist whose wit and hilarious art works were the inspiration for this collaboration. He's currently most heavily engaged in being a father to three boys, so his personal introduction will have to wait until he gets a little time.

Stay tuned. And remember, Shoes for Industry! Malberg et Plano! And write when you get work.
